Bliss N Eso continued their “Running on Air Tour” with a stop in Adelaide last night.

Hip hop and rap music is perpetually at a point where it is very hard to differentiate the vast offerings on the market. One often ponder’s is an act like Bliss N Eso a poorer cousin of Hilltop Hoods? Is this reviewer committing a cardinal sin by even posing the question in the first place? This was a question pondered by this reviewer whilst waiting for the main act to arrive on stage tonight. For we had been warmed up by a couple of teaser acts who provided much of a muchness, it was to my delight that the Bliss N Eso boys took to the stage at a punctual time.

No they are not the pooer cousin of the critically acclaimed Hoods, quite the contrary. Bliss N Eso, are in their own right, worthy of the status of being one Australia’s premiere Hip Hop Outfits. Gloss over their catalogue of tracks and you will see they have the most solid offering for any punter whose idea of a good time is to watch an MC wax lyrical.

Bliss N Eso come out charging ahead at an alarming rate and they dish out prolific verse after another and quite soon the entire set becomes a symphony of Australian hip hop excellence.

Bliss N Eso fans will have no excuse to rate this one of their finest live showings to be treated to.
