A massive crowd assembled at the front of the main stage for French/Nigerian afro beat powerhouse Fefe. As soon as he took to the stage in front of his 5 piece band, the man was palpably pumped, bouncing with anticipation and ready to go.
Luckily, Fefe is a performer well-equipped to take this and raise it up a notch. Incredibly charismatic and jammed packed with hip-hop bravado, Fefe was electric and worked the crowd like a pro.
His blend of French pop and soul meets African hip-hop is hi-energy, hands-in-the-air fun, perfect for the Saturday night WOMADelaide spot.
With a solid RnB Set and loads of crowd interaction, including a shoulder-straddling voyage via one particularly strong looking male audience member, Fefe went off and captured the flag as one of the festival highlights.
